Review of la Torretta

My husband's sales meeting weekend has begun again...

My husband's sales meeting weekend has begun again. This time, in the City of Conroe. I never had a chance to experience Conroe other than passing through. We arrived at La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa Friday evening. We bumped into some of husband's co-workers which was headed to the dinning room. You have a choice of buffet or ordering from the menu, either way the food was good. We went exploring the grounds and there are pools galore! My sons just couldn't wait. Next day, headed down after breakfast and had a blast! Later. . . . that evening we wanted to try a restaurant called" Pappas on the Lake." Great food, great place and great staff! And don't forget the live music. We returned to the Resort with a wonderful night. . . . Back to the pool we go! But was turned away due to lightning. That let's me know, the Resort cares about their guests.The staff, here are very cordial, hospitable, and very attentive. It's Sunday and time to head home. What a awesome time.
