I'm not sure what to say about Six Flags - I didnt go personally, I dropped my teenage daughter and her friend off; however it was my weekend hangout when I was a teenager. Six Flags is amazing - with the rides and all the sights and everything to do. But its ALWAYS going to be crowded; there are always going to be hour or longer lines to wait in; it's usually going to be hot (depending on the time of the year you go). So u just have to decide for yourself if the balance of the good time is worth the opposing negatives. For me as a kid, it was ABSOLUTELY worth it; for my daughter and her friend - not so much. They waited in one line for 2 hours, rode that ride, shopped til they spent all their money, then called and said they were ready to leave. The one thing Six Flags has now that it didnt have when I was a kid is the different memberships u can choose to buy over the daily ticket or the season pass. If you ever plan to return in the same year, I would recommend the Six Flags Diamond Elite Membership. It's like $18/month (with like a $10 one time processing fee) - but it allows FREE unlimited visits, unlimited drinks, everything you purchase in the park - souvenirs, food, ANYTHING - is 50% off. All friends that come with u get 1/2 off their admission ticket (regardless of the number of friends u bring). We splurged to get the deluxe dining for an additional $3 and change/month, which provides daily lunch, dinner, and a snack (concession). There are many other perks that come with the membership - but those were our most impressive. Do your homework if you are going to be a returning visitor to the park - it'll be worth it (my opinion).

There was a MAJOR negative that I should mention - we had to wait in line to get my daughter's friend her ticket. The people in front of us and in front of them kept letting all their friends and family cut in line with them. We already had to wait in line for 40 min just to get the ticket, so it REALLY presented a problem with people cutting! While I'm sure it's probably that way throughout the park, I witnessed and dealt with it first hand at the front gate! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
