We stayed as overnight guests after a flight cancellation. The desk staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and efficient, especially considering the rush of people in the same situation with whom they were dealing at once. The same description would apply to the serving staff in their local outdoor bar and grill - we visited twice the next day because of the quality of the service!

The rooms were clean and well maintained, as were the grounds. The resort has ocean views and beach access as well as its own lovely blue local pools. Overall it seemed very family friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised at the access to free Wi-Fi, which is definitely not always a guarantee at a high end resort. It did have some of the pricing issues expected at a 4-star accommodation (eg: $5 US bottle of water available in the room while the tap water tasted off, $7 small smoothies at the grill, etc) but overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would consider it again in future travels.
