Where to start? From the ambiance, the food, the service, all the way back to making the reservation, The Optimist impresses in every way! We ordered a number of apps including a variety of oysters and everything was amazing! The seafood chowder (or whatever they called it) was the best I ve ever had, full of great complimentary flavors and substance! All of our dinners were delicious and were a family who shares so I m speaking for not only the opinions of my group but personal experience as well.

I was here once before in the mid heat of summer, we sat outside and it was very spur of the moment and things were great! Last nights occasion was planned based on previous experience and were worthy of a full review!

Two words: Top Notch! If you like great seafood in a classy setting, this is the spot for you!
