The Michael Jordan of Lawyers! A Ridiculously Awesome Lawyer!

In August of this year my fiance and I decided that it's time for us to move out of Manhattan and get a place of our own in NJ. I found Carmine LoFaro online with 46 Five-Star reviews which is absolutely insane! Not one person gave him a review less than 5-Stars so I read the reviews to see what all the fuss was about and the overwhelming point that I read was "Carmine Takes Care of Business! I kid you not, from the first time that I spoke to him, I knew in my heart that he was the Lawyer that we needed to hire to oversee the purchase of our new house. It's the same feeling that I've had hundreds of times when the NY Jets had the lead in the 4th Quarter and I just knew that they were going to blow it!

During our first call, Carmine filled me in on the closing process, discussed everything that's going to happen from this point forward and was upfront with his fee. He dropped so much knowledge on me about the Real Estate closing process, this guy was undoubtedly a stud! He then said: "if you're interested, I'll send you the document to sign" to which I replied "absolutely"!

A few days later we made an offer on the property which was accepted but then entered the dreaded "Attorney Review Period" which lasts 3 days. It was Labor Day Friday (day 3 of Attorney Review) and we were nervous to see if we still had the place and I just figured that we'd hear back from Carmine on Tuesday because he mentioned to me that he was heading out of town for the weekend (a much deserved retreat I might add!). And then my phone rang on Friday evening and it blew my mind because not only was it a Holiday Weekend but he was away with his family and he still called me! Let me say that again: He was on a weekend getaway with his family on a Holiday Weekend and he called me to discuss our possible future house!! Who does that?! In this day and age of selfishness and Me-Me-Me, he's one of the last honorable men on the planet. I'll never forget what he said to me during that call: "why should the world stop just because I'm away?!". It was right out of the Jerry Maguire Movie as he had us at "Why"!

We wanted to purchase a duplex and our goal was to live in the first floor and rent out the 2nd floor. Closing was scheduled for October 27th but was backed up due to an issue between the tenant and the owner. Then it was backed up again and then backed up a 3rd time. Each time Carmine filled us in, replied to our e-mails in an incredibly timely manner and was the ultimate pro. Long story short, we pushed and pushed and finally closed on the duplex last Thursday (4 months later!) with Carmine by our side. Dude was a rock for 4 straight months and there was a point where I literally offered him more money because he was doing Sooooo Much extra work for us and he simply replied: "No, it's my job"! He knew all of the New Jersey Laws and requirements and patiently explained them to us throughout the 4 months. Also, he was Super Protective of us (his clients) and ensured that we weren't being taken advantage of by the seller and the seller's lawyer which they both tried to do!

But our favorite thing about working with Carmine Lofaro was that we never felt like a number. Every time that I called or e-mailed him, he always made us feel like we were his only clients. I kid you not, that's exactly how we felt the entire 4 months working with him! And that IS Priceless!

At the end of the day, we now own our home and a Huuuuuge thank you isn't enough because Carmine LoFaro is truly The Michael Jordan of Lawyers!

P.S. If anyone does read reviews like me and you're on the fence about which lawyer to hire, I have 4 words for you: Carmine is Your Guy!
