I stayed in this hotel many years ago coinciding with a visit that George Bush Sr. made, it was a tradition at that time that the US presidents stayed at the Waldorf Astoria and it was well worth it, as all NYC hotels have small rooms compared to what our Spanish or Caribbean hotels have us used to, the building is an art-deco monument in all aspects from its main hall to the elevator doors, lately I know that it was refurbished and its location is exceptional
