The volunteer lady (African American) wasn't as ha...

The volunteer lady (African American) wasn't as hands on with us as we would like, she was kind of everywhere. We would have liked to have had her spend more time with us so we could have looked at the cats we wanted to, when we wanted to. It seemed like the other potential adopters had adequate time with their volunteer and cats of choice. But we didn't feel we had that with our volunteer. Or overall experience was pretty good though. We ended up adopting a super sweet cat named Darby. We we're actually looking for a cat we could have brought home the same day, but we ended up falling for a 5 year old cat that was supposedly not stayed yet. One of the girls there, helping with computer paperwork said she thought Darby was a little extra chunky, which normally means they are already spayed, but she didn't have a razor to check. So she would still need to go through clinic the next day, she would also be microchiped and vaccined, plus her spay. When we picked up Darby the next afternoon, we ended up finding out that she had had indeed already been spayed. So she didn't get sedated, which was a plus, but did get her vaccines and microchip! I really like the animal foundation, we good a great day, sure has warmed up to our other cat nicely and our dogs too. Plus the kids love her! I love how when the kids call her name, she comes running!!! It's awesome!!!
THANK YOU ANIMAL FOUNDATION!!!
