I am a veteran like many of the other people this thieves guild preys on. I was a young veteran with bad cedit. Pretty common. I also needed a car. Also common. I got approved for a $6,000 loan on a 2008 focus with an understandably high interest rate. I agreed to payments of 452 a month on a 3 year loan to get it paid quickly. Well I tried paying online, it was always down, I tried paying on the phone but there's a fee for that, if you pay with card there's a fee, if you pay with check it's a bigger fee, pay with cash? You guessed it, a fee. At the end of 2 years I was paying $600+ every month. At one point it was more then my rent. I finally said screw it, come take the car. I went to see what the remaining balance was and they are now coming after me for $4500. Apparently the interest at 20% over doubles the total. Don't do it. In the words of admiral akbar- it's a trap.
