My Dad grew up on Kauai. For years he would say "I'm not floating in a ditch, I played there as a kid". Well, after returning to the island after being gone for awhile, we finally convinced him to try. And BOY oh BOY was it worth it! Not only did we all have a blast (2 locals and 5 visitors), but Dad said next time he is back, he would do it again!! I have ZERO complaints. From checking in at Kauai Backcountry, to the ride out, to the wonderful guide in our van, to the tubing experience, it was ALL TOP NOTCH! We all had the BEST time ever. The group we were with was fun as well!! If there is one thing you do outside of the normal "tourist" circuit, this should be it!!!!
