Overall awesome veterinary practice! I was a bit hesitant to bring my dog to a new vet during this crazy time (COVID-19 and not allowing anyone in but the dog) but I m so glad I did. The dermatology veterinary practice near where I live was booking new patient appointments into November but Metropolitan got us an appointment in less than a week. It was over an hour away from me but it was worth the trip to see Dr. Backel and the dermatology team. From the moment I pulled into parking lot, the staff was so friendly! After doing a history over the phone with the vet tech, she then greeted us at the front door and explained the process of what they ll do with my dog and when I ll hear from the doctor. When Dr. Backel called me to review her findings, she was thorough and answered all of my questions, and even went over possible next steps for treatment (almost 15 minutes on the phone with me). They even followed up and emailed me indepth discharge instructions on exactly what to do. I am very impressed with the service we received and will definitely recommend this practice to everyone!
