I brought my mother in last week for wrist pain. Somehow wrist pain turned into chest pain even though my mother denied any chest pain. Dr. Gurdock came out to triage immediately to see her. By the time she was done not only could he bill her for critical care time since he saw her for her wrist right away he committed fraud twice by billing her Medicare for a cardiac workup and admission which was not needed. Of course when she had questions as to why she was being admitted he refused to come into the room to talk to her again. I guess he assumes all patients are stupid and can just illegally bill them for serial ekgs and other nonsense that was not needed. I can t wait to report this to the board of health for FL and CMS for Medicare fraud. So if you want inappropriate work ups and fraud to be committed go to Good Samaritan Medical Center. Also had the worst nurse in the world, Kristine. Even though it was the early hours of the morning, that is no excuse. I ve never seen such an incompetent nurse who couldn t even start an IV on my mother. So between doctors committing fraud and incompetence from the nursing staff, I will never bring my family or myself to GSMC ever again.
