Here is a list of things you'll need and a few tips: in a waterproof or water resistant bag but 1-2 bottles of water per person (freeze the night before), sunscreen, waterproof camera or waterproof phone, a snack if needed, and a credit card if you are doing the class 2-3 since lunch isn't provided. This bag won't get wet if you put it in a bucket and bring it with you on the boat. They provide buckets. Bring 2 on the boat, one for getting water out of the boat and one for the bag. Bring extra dry clothes and leave them in the car.
Don't forget to bring extra socks and shoes to change into.
What to wear: i wore boat shoes that were waterproof. They were nice for when you get in the river. Regular shoes would weigh you down. But if its all you have, make sure they're not your favorite shoes. THEY NEED TO HAVE A BACK. They won't let you wear shoes that don't have a back. You'll have to buy them there if you forget. If you don't wave water shoes you can buy them there for like $20 i think.
Wear clothes you can move in and make sure its not cotton. Think workout clothes. Wear your bathing suit under your clothes. I saw these tourists wear really nice clothes, jeans, etc. They were a mess and couldn't get in the river. Wear sunglasses! If you have expensive sunglasses, make sure you bring a strap ($1 at walmart).
I highly suggest you take your own pictures. They state they take them but its only ONE picture. Literally. You don't even have choices to pick from. The odds are that not everyone will look good in the picture because you're rafting, you don't know they're taking the picture, and to have all 4 to 6 people look good at the same time in one shot is extremely rare.
Don't wear jewelry you mind loosing.
DONT USE WAZE TO GET THERE. USE GOOGLE MAPS. Waze for some reason goes the longest way possible.
Yall are going to have a blast.
