Today I dropped off an adult male Barred Owl I kept overnight and was calling 'Bonkers' because he slammed into a tower while being chased by Hawks and fell 30' to the ground.

I found Rogers' on Google and, thankfully, their website and helpful staff instructed us on what to do for him overnight. He was assessed and treated immediately upon arrival this morning. Nothing broken, but he had a thorn in his claw that was removed, and then was given a steroid shot for any brain or spinal cord swelling. He's going to recover and be released, they said!

I gave a donation and took a tour and was amazed by the quantity and variety of birds there. I highly suggest contributing, whether financially, through their Amazon wishlist, or in volunteer time if you're able to. These people are so obviously in it for the love of birds, and they also do educational programs.
