Few things...
1. Plan on spending 3+ hours if you want to also see the garden. We didn t realize how large this place is when we arrived. My 3 teens and I wanted to visit it since they read about it in French class. They had a good time seeing all the paintings and sculptures.

2. For the newbies, spend 20-30 mins researching the history and cultural significance of the place. You ll appreciate the works of art so much more. Even the details of the exterior were amazing.

3. Save the hassle and take the train if you are staying near Paris center. So much more convenient than the traffic and cost of an Uber.
