I was very disappointed with the performance of the front office during my visit today. I have been a patient of Dr. Durso for years. During today s visit I was made to pay for the entire visit with the explanation that the insurance company would reimburse me. This has not been the case in the past. I offered to guarantee payment by making my credit card available in the event the insurance company did not cover my charges but this was not acceptable to the woman at the front office. I think she just did not want to do her job, just wanted to shift the burden on me. She blamed that on corporate policy. This was the first time I ever heard of corporate . I will be contacting my insurance company to straighten this out but this has Been disappointing and I will be reevaluating my relationship with the office going forward. It is very likely I will be looking for a different dental office!
