This place is vast but disappointing at the same time. None of the machines on the way down appeared to be working. The tunnel was so short you were no sooner in than you were out. The lifts to get back to the exit are certainly insufficient that many families with pushchair waiting was not good, there was at least a 40 minute wait. We climbed the 76 steps back up carrying children and pushchair, no joke at all.
But they are to be complimented on the way they dealt with the surprise for our granddaughter. The diver who held the poster with her name on was amazing. This part was very well organised and many thanks to all the staff involved in arranging it. It was our granddaughter's 5th birthday, I think that well made up for any disappointments. Worth a visit though but get there early as the car parks were very full by the time we got there, just before 11am, all the disabled spaces were taken so we ended up in a muddy field
