I wanted to get a remote-start installed in my wife's car. I had several email conversations with someone named Andrew, who quoted me a fair price and we set up the date and time for me to drop off the vehicle. I was told the total install would take anywhere from 60-90 minutes.

When I arrived to drop off my car, there was no record of my appointment or any customer information on file. Then I was informed that the install would take 4-5 hours at least.

Since I had taken a half day off of work to have the install done and driven 70 minutes (round-trip) as well, I am predictably not thrilled and cancelled the appointment.

The shop looks nice enough, and they appear to usually do good work - but if you're dealing with Andrew, I would double check that he actually knows what he's talking about.
