Hands down the best place to bring kids for a few hours a week. Tons of fun, interactive exhibits. Great cafeteria with reasonable prices and good sized portions. The new space gallery is great. The new planetarium is amazing, my kiddo and I love laying down on the big bean bags and touring the galaxy. The rotating exhibits keep things fresh, especially when they're free admission exhibits. You have to work around the school classes, especially in the kids area (the new one seems like it'll be bigger thankfully). If you're allergic to loud, excited children then you might want to stick to early mornings or the adult-only Dark Matters nights. If you have kids, or want to recapture that feeling you had when you were a loud, excited child visiting the Space and Science Centre on a school trip, this is a definite recommend. And it has free parking! A GIANT free parking lot full of deliciously free parking. Freeeeeee!! (Apologies, I'm experiencing residual trauma from my visit to the new museum)
