I'm into my third round of unrelated emails, from unrelated people being "auto-linked" together because they have the same subject. "Happy New Year". I had the same experience with "Merry Christmas Emails" and "Happy Birthday". It even linked resposes from130 American Greetings Christmas Cards that I sent out. Can I get anyone at Yahoo to listen? NO ! They make you go to a Customer Service website to VOTE on subjects of complaints ! Althrough you can create your own, and you get to vote on five similar to yours, It's not sufficient.
Also, you can't group incoming mail by sender ... It wouldn't matter anyway, because Yahoo, as I noted above, has senders with similar subjects grouped together. Yahooo.. BA HOO! Bad, Bad Customer Service. BAD PROGRAMMING LOGIC!
