The best part about this zoo is the view! Also the ferry ride over has a fantastic view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house. But your tickets online and use the Opal card for the public Ferry to get the cheapest deal, although heaps of places on the wharf try to scam you out of a few extra dollars to take you there.
The zoo's layout isn't the most easy to navigate and involves a bit of retracing your steps, also be prepared for a lot of up and downhill walking. In general though it's a good zoo but definitely not the best out there.
