I was in extreme crisis upon arrival at Thunderbird Samaritan Banner. The doors to the crisis center were locked. I wandered through another entrance hyper ventilating and unable speak, There were two staff women sitting behind the HELP DESK that did nothing to help me at all. I just kept wandering around the hallway in obvious distress until a patient(?), visitor (?) took my hand and tried to get me help in the emergency room. The security person just snapped at us to step back. The man/visitor actually helped me to breathe and walk and calm down enough to speak. Not one staff member at this hospital (and there were ample staff) tried to help. But a complete stranger did. Shame on all those staff that came into contact with us and did nothing to help.
