Sunday, 9.50am. Grace Cathedral, Nob Hill. The church goers guide the Thirsty Coffee Enthusiast, who occasionally dresses as a priest for Halloween, to the basement of the church. I'm passing two ladies sitting in a corner, studying the bible.

I'm preparing myself mentally to confess my latest sins and praise the Lord, but the girl at the coffee counter couldn't be bothered.

Fine. One large house coffee, please.

Sitting on a wooden bench and sipping on my Peets coffee I'm thinking that this little hidden-in-the-Cathedrals-basement coffee shop is a heavenly gift. And maybe I should reconsider my costume choice for Halloween this year. It's about time.
