On Sept. 24 a Pronto service tech. came to our house and looked at our furnace that would not operate. The igniter was bad, as was the pressure switch for the smaller exhaust blower. The main blower was leaking oil from the bearings so badly that it had dripped on the floor. The air conditioner never had enough volume to cool the house due to the slow blower leaking oil. The technician was great and knew what he was looking at and explained everything very well. It made lots more sense to get a new furnace so i asked for a quote. The new Bryant furnace was installed on Sept 28. All the installation people were friendly and really cared about doing a good job. They were a very efficient crew, Everything works great now and we are happy to be ready for winter. The only things that would have made the experience perfect would have been a written estimate from our service tech. and a receipt when we handed the check over. Guess i am old school, i need to hold a piece of paper in my hand.
