The California Science Center admission is free. The Space Shuttle Endeavour exhibition require reserved tickets but may be free with IMAX ticket purchase. Parking at the center is $12 per car, or if you are early/lucky, you can find 4-hr ($1 per hour) street parking on side streets. The food court is great with varios options ( taco / seafood / pizza / burgers) There is a sizable seating area indoor and outdoor. Almost all exhibits and IMAX Theater are wheelchair accessible.

There are many scientific exhibits to engage kids and adults alike. All of them are very informative with some that are interactive and immersive to educate the visitors while having fun. The space shuttle Endeavour is 78 feet wide by 57 feet high by 122 feet long. It starts with a walkthrough informational exhibit and a short film of The journey getting to Los Angeles flying across the US on the back of a 747 from Florida. There's a huge empty fuel tank, parked outside the space shuttle exhibit. A new exhibition wing is being designed to house both the Endeavour and the huge Tank. There are various motion-based simulators (like hurricane and earth quake) but expect the lines to be long on the weekend (25 min when we visited)
