Last night four of us dined at Campo. The dinner was a gift from my sister s two children to celebrate her birthday. We had cocktails in the field and were then shown to our table in the patio. We ordered a salad and appetizer before dinner, both of which were delicious. Next, upon the waiter s recommendation, three of us ordered the ribeye steak and my sister ordered the lavender lamb. When the entrees arrived, all three of the rib-eyes were fatty, gristly and tough, not part of the steak but the entire steak! My sister s lamb was extremely dry!
When the waiter came to the table to ask how the dinner was we told him and he apologized. He did not
however offer to replace the meals. Later another waiter came to pick up the plates and we complained to him also. He could see fat and gristle piled up on all our plates. Again he apologized. Later when the original waiter came to our table with the dessert menu, I asked him what the chef had said, and was told that the chef would keep an eye out for future ribeyes that would come out of the kitchen.
NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS!
