Overall the service appointment for all my driveline fluid change went well. I appreciate the loaner car at only $15/day which eased the wait time. Reason i gave 3 stars out of 5 is based on Trent s lack of enthousiasme and by not being helpful. I explained that i had the tpms light that came on again when putting my stock wheels back on the Tacoma and asked if he could sync them as they tend not to be recognized after being off for 6 Months. This happens every time I switch to Winter wheels/tires * And No i don t have tpms in my summer wheels. My regular dealership i go to really don t put up a big fuzz about it and they just do it N/C as it takes 2minutes. Trent insisted that I would have to pay $70 for this... I simply drove a few blocks away to Limitless Tires where i get my company fleet trucks serviced and they did n/c in less that 2 minutes. I then got these guys coffee & donuts because they understand what is customer service about. Also while my vehicle was being serviced i received a call from Trent saying it needs to have the brake fluid flushed/replaced, i asked if the tech noticed it and answered that it was dirty. I then mentioned that i did this myself literally last week and all fluids are fresh. Trent then changed his story that he could not see this in my service records and it s why he was up selling me on it...that was a bit shady Imo.

All that said, i owned 4 Tacoma so far and will be looking at a new truck next year, unfortunately i think Stampede Toyota missed the mark to acquire me as a future customer. Don t try to make a quick buck or lure a customer in services they don t need and then you will have returning potential buyers.
