Have to say this place is struggling to achieve a 3 star rating if at all 2. No hot water, despite every day being told "it will be fixed today" since arriving. The whole place is very tired and needing some attention. Adult only pool is half full of green stagnant water. Pool bar has no fridges, just buckets of ice water to put the drinks in. All the bars and restaurant have run out of bottled water. For our entire stay so far theres been no chicken, although it remains on the menu. There is no BBQ, so when they say its BBQ night, what the mean is theres some spare ribs on in the restaurant tonight. If you like you toast with butter on in the morning, forget it as they have run out of butter. When walking around the hotel and complex, be careful not to trip on loose and broken tiles and boards. Be careful not to fall down the hole in the floor in the bar. Beach isn't cleaned or looked after, glass and rubbish is left lying around for days.
The majority of staff are really friendly and try their hardest. The General manager tries to make you welcome and is always about to come up with excuses for why the problems haven't been rectified. All 9 couples staying here have said how disappointed they are with what was sold to them by British Airways and Virgin Holidays. For some of the couples, who are booked for 2 weeks, they are contemplating either asking to change hotels or fly home early.
Nothing in the way of an apology has been offered to anyone staying here, Just excuses.
