Seemed totally surreal, the degree of wealth and opulence the French Royalty possessed! The gardens were equally impressive! Remember to pick up your entrance tickets in advance from the ticket office building immediately to the left of the main building where you enter. Otherwise, you'll have wasted 3 hours standing in the massive entrance line for nothing! Bathrooms are also located in the ticket office building. The gardens require no entrance fee. Bring an umbrella, b/c it's guaranteed to rain for at least 50% of the time while you're not-so-patiently standing in line for three hours in France...lol.
