Conrad New York Downtown is an excellent hotel for all types of people, including families. Here's why:

1) Location: It's just west of Tribeca along the Hudson River giving guests beautiful views of Manhattan and Hoboken from the rooftop. It's right next to the Irish Hunger Memorial and Pier 25 with a playground for children. There's also an excellent running path along the Hudson near the hotel.

2) Space: It's a simple, yet design elegant hotel with high ceilings. If you're scared of heights, don't look down as you walk to your room on the upper floors.

3) Amenities: There's a rooftop bar that lets you order drinks (including their famous popsicle cocktails) and take them down to your room. They also have a gym and many restaurants within walking distance.

4) Rooms: They are very spacious for NYC and each comes with a little living room. We stayed here with our 2-year-old daughter and the crib from the hotel fit comfortably in the room (the crib also came with a stuffed animal and kid travel packet that our daughter loved).

We cannot wait to stay here again!
