Awesome bar for live music ,good selection of ciders, rum and ales friendly staff and characters of the local variety. Great place to watch local sports have a game of pool etc

Food is great contrary to other reviews previous to this the apple and parrot doesnt have a kitchen but is owned by jam leisure who own the restaurant (in day and evening) and club (at night) across the road called park lane when you order food it is made at parklane and brought over to you by the kitchen/waiting staff all food is cooked to order and id highly reccomend the nachos especially with the pulled pork, gourmet burgers etc, the staff are happy to answer any questions or queries you have.

Last but not least is the fun parrot who is the bar mascot. The pub is also dog friendly and staff even come for a cuddle and bring the dogs water etc if need be just ask at the bar =)

If you're torn between two drinks and not sure what to do the staff will help you consult the coin of destiny so solve the solution its all fun and games and youll have a great time!
