The Bar.

The Bar.

My wife has always been a fan of dining at the bar. I had always been hesitant, but not because I didn't like it it was due to the fact that for several years I was fighting a "pinched nerve" and sitting at the bar was a pain in the neck (literally).

Thankfully my acupuncturist remedied that problem and am now pain free and able to sit wherever the Hell I damn well please.

Mistral's bar has recently become one of my favorite dinner spots. The bartenders here are not only some of the best, but are the most genuinely nicest people you will ever find. Tamara and the rest of the mixologist made me feel like a regular after (count 'em) just one visit. My wife and I now make frequent visits and instead of taking up space in the dining room, prefer to nestle in at the bar and visit with the bartenders and meet other interesting locals.

If you make a stop by here soon, you will be treated to a special aged blood orange bitters that will your bring your manhattan to different level of enjoyment. But if manhattans aren't your thing, there are plenty of other refreshing drinks that will be sure to put a smile on your face.

Mistral also has a large flat panel TV where you can catch up on the Giants, 49ers and Warriors or any other of your favorite sports team(s). But if you just want to sit and unwind with a glass of wine or cocktail this is the perfect place. The bartenders will take care of you and slide over the perfect drink.
