I'm my opinion, three is only one way to visit Taronga zoo.
Catch the ferry!
It's amazing to have such a beautiful parcel of land, in the thick of Sydney.
Coupled with a ride across the harbor, is like casting a light on the jewel in the crown.

I always have mixed feeling about zoos and animals, but I honestly felt the animals are in safe and caring hands.

The grounds are well tendered, and the staff were friendly.
The paths and exhibitions are easy to get around.
There is something for everyone.

Pro tip, after catching the ferry, catch the bus or cable car to the top of the hill.
So you are waking downhill from then on!
