De Sovrani is located in the salt lake area (Prominent Location in Kolkata) and around 12 Kms from the airport. The rooms of this hotel are really good and staff is curteous and ready to help at all times. However the only thing that I didn't like about the hotel is its tiny buffet. It's so small that if you're gonna compare it with Hotels of NCR you will be really disappointed. But the room service makes up for the tiny buffet, I know what you're thinking. "Sounds like a delibrate Strategy right? I would say it is." But the price of menu items are not on the higher side so it shouldn't be a huge cause of concern. In fact the price of the mini bar items were on the cheaper end if you compare it Raddission chain hotels for obvious reasons. Overall I would say that the location, service and rooms make it a good deal any time.
