The managementof the Varsity Inn South needs a serious lesson in professionalism. My wife and I took my daughter to Columbus for her first OSU football game. I booked a room through Expedia ELEVEN WEEKS ahead of time. We arrived, checked in, and got to the room to find that they had given us a room with one king bed in it, instead of the 2 doubles that I had booked. I went to the office to straighten out the mistake, only to be told that they couldn't do anything about it since I had booked through Expedia. I called Expedia, so they called the Varsity Inn and spoke to a short-tempered manager who told them the same: even though I had booked 2 doubles, I was guaranteed nothing. With no other option, Expedia (thankfully) did the right thing and booked us in a much nicer hotel and absorbed the higher price of the new place. When I returned the key and told the staff that we were leaving, I received a dirty look and no apology for their very poor service. For the record, I am the very last person you'll see complaining about customer service just about anywhere, but this was awful.
