My aunt and I stayed here a couple nights. I enjoyed: the communal meals (a bit awkward at first, but we quickly felt welcomed); exploring the property (there are resident cats and chickens, gardens, and many acres of pecan groves and general wildness); and all the products they peddle (chocolate bark, pecan brittle, and peach-nut bread, coffee, pecan butter, etc). I also got a kick out of finding a chicken pecking around outside porch! Seemed like there wasn't much happening in January, but I could see their missions of land stewardship and inclusivity are going strong. Very welcoming place, but I'd recommend one of the cottages further back on the property, as Hwy 49 can be quite loud.
