Five year old Son enjoyed the day out but there wasn't very much for him to do. Even less for my daughter who is only a toddler. The majority of the park was very dated and not very clean. The indoor play areas smelt quite bad. A lot of the equipment didn't work such the big air guns that shoot out the foam balls. This area was dead because there's hardly any balls and about two of the guns worked. The mini golf was absolutely knackered. The large wooden play area badly needs a lick of paint. It looks nothing like the pictures on the flyers. One positive was that there were plenty of staff around. Not much else too positive to say. We have an annual pass which includes Wheelgate and Twin lakes. Twin lakes is far better. We won't be going back to Wheelgate. I'd avoid it if you're after a day out.
