Went on one of their trips out on an inflatable on the back of a speed boat, with my wife and 12 year old daughter.
There was also another inflatable attached to the boat too.
As we got on, they changed drivers, from an older chap who appeared quite sensible, to a younger chap.
We were wearing life vests, and rugby scrum caps, so I didn't expect things to get too rocky.
So, just before setting off there was a "safety briefing" which consisted of the man say "tap on your head to slow down and thumbs down to stop" then we were off.
At the start it was pretty good, then the speed Increased and then came the silly manoeuvres at high speed, which in turn sent our inflatable crashing into the other one attached - just inches away from hitting heads with each other.
This happened again and again then the speed increased even more. At this point my daughter was quite scared, so shouted at the man to slow down, which he did.... for around 15 seconds then the same again.
He was then told again to slow down, which he eventually did when I spoke up and told him to stop doing this.
We were by no means under the illusion these kinds of rides don't throw you around, but did not expect the dangerous manoeuvres that could have resulted in serious injury, nor did we expect to be ignored when told to slow down.
So be aware, these cowboys are an accident waiting to happen. They don't listen when you tell them to slow down and just like to show off that they can drive a boat fast - set of spanners!
I would have quite happily got off in the middle of the sea and swam back if I were on my own. Stupid, infantile and dangerous.
