Loads to do but it all costs and it will quickly mount up. You can have a nice time visiting other near by locations and using the included facilities though.
If you can visit nearby heaven's gate, a free walk on graveled and level paths you will be rewarded by landscaped gardens and a view that overlooks Longleat house and miles of rolling countryside, you will, of course, need the weather. The car park for the walk which is a mile or so past CP entrance, can be a thief's paradise so Don't leave anything in your car! The car park also has paths through the same woods in which CP sits which lead to Shear Water (about a mile) a nice place to picknick, fish (with permit) or eat at the not so cheap cafe.
