We were looking for a festive place to celebrate a special birthday and catch a 6:30 performance on State Street. This was a perfect choice. Since we were early birds, there was no trouble getting a table for four. It was chilly where we were seated but the host cheerfully responded to our request to turn up the heat and turn off the ceiling fan above us. For starters we had fondue, which I heartily recommend. Every one thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We ordered The Winter salad with duck, their famous burger, braised beef cheeks and I had PEI mussels in garlic wine sauce which were perfect with a side of frites. In addition to an extensive beer selection,the wine list was more than adequate. Hope to return.
