When it opened, this casino was a little too up-scale for the area. At least that was our take on it, so we stayed at their competition, always using a casino near home to decompress after a month or so on the road. This last trip we stopped at WinStar and found it delightfully 'adjusted' to the attending population and competition. We'll be staying here from now on. It's about as close to Dallas as you can place a casino. Their restaurants are reasonable and excellent. We stayed at a nearby motel and can't comment on the casino hotel which looked quite nice. We lost a pair of expensive glasses on the casino floor. I can't tell you the lengths the staff went to in their unsuccessful attempt to find them - thanks everyone. We'll be returning for weekend escapes often. A first-class casino without airfare to Vegas. Gets our five stars.
