We've been to Porkchop about a dozen times for dinner and have enjoyed every meal. The menu changes frequently enough to make it interesting to come back every few weeks. Many of the dishes include some uncommon and yummy pickled or smoked tidbit that delights the palate. In addition, they know how to make and serve real pasta - some of the best in Seattle. I've eaten at just about every restaurant in Ballard multiple times and this place is one of the best. If you're looking for overpriced, mediocre food in a place so loud you cannot have a conversation, head to one of the joints on Ballard Avenue. If you want a memorable meal, give Porkchop a try. Full disclosure - I'm dishing up this rave review because I love eating here and I want Porkchop to be around for many years. An added bonus is the large collection of excellent cookbooks in the dining room available for browsing while your order is being prepared.
