This was only my second Nascar experience, ,and it was great ,, the city of Avondale could have done a whole lot better with the road signage leading to the track ,, lots of the ones that were miles away stating free parking and what not were misleading ,,

It's my local track, so I can't be too harsh, but I feel some of the changes they have made/are making leave a little uncertainty on how I'll enjoy the experience going forward. I've always enjoyed the freedom to carve out my own spot, by myself or with a group of friends in the unreserved camping lots. I was informed at this years spring race that unreserved camping would be eliminated going forward and everyone would have to reserve their 25' x 50' spot ahead of time. I feel like a small piece of what made this track so enjoyable and unique is now lost.

It was okay. Walked about a mile and half from the parking lot just to get into the place, each "shuttle" that came by ignored the fact that we had a 4 year old walking with us because they were packed up with all the young 20 year olds that needed the rides more than us apparently. The drive there and out of there was okay but definitely couldn't make the whole race. It was way too hot out and then getting back to our car afterwards, after being ignored by shuttle after shuttle yet again? Yeah, it may be a long while before I make it back to this place again.

Great experience took my girlfriend for her first time to a NASCAR race and she was blown way. It just further explains why you must see a NASCAR race live to appreciate the talent of the drivers.

Quite a bit of walking to get to raceway after parking. Even if you have a handicap sticker there's quite a distance. You have to climb up a set of stairs, because cars are driving under you, then go down the stairs to continue to the gates. Arrive early for race... takes a bit to get through security. Try and figure out where you're parking compared to the gate you enter and where your seats are. Try and get a map of the area... Ended up walking about 4.5 miles trying to find seats and from parking to even enter the race....

Great venue. They run traffic better than a chick fil a drive thru. My only gripe is that the Rudys kiosk in our section ran out of food before lap 50. I was SO looking forward to some Rudys during the race. Oh well, i still love Rudys and i will be back to ISM for sure

Renovations are beautiful and much needed but 2 stars due too limited handicapped parking. Had a veteran attending the race (airborne army ranger) walk about 3 miles on bad knees. We asked carts going by if he could get a ride to the entrance, their response "this is a private cart, we can't help you" veterans should be VIP status no matter what! Phoenix speedway needs too treat veterans better, if they don't want too increase handicapped parking at least have cart transport for the older and disabled (saw many older men wit crutches or walkers have to endure that same mile walk). Also the sheriffs posted in parking could be more accommodating instead of yelling at paying law abiding customers.

Loved coming here for the NASCAR race. It was so much fun and the stadium had a lot more to offer than I expected. I would have loved to have camped there and experienced all the races at this stadium.

Best kept secret for watching the nascar race is hillside! Bring whatever you need to be comfortable, food and drink, shade, chairs and sunscreen and show up early to get set up. The hillside is a great view and youre not assigned to a seat. Roam if you want to! Vendors sell food and drinks if you dont bring your own, and theres plenty of accessible bathrooms (portable). If you purchase a trackside seat you can go to the hillside but if you purchase a hillside seat it does not give you access to all the cool things trackside....just sayin.

Place is nice. But as a pit crew member would be awesome if they could make a walk through in the fan zone to get equipment out to pit road. The fans would probably dig that also, and would make it a lot easier. Such a pain to haul that stuff all the way around the ends of the garage.
