Adopted a senior dog from here years ago (RIP Watson). I like to visit here when I'm down since the animals themselves are great therapy. The nicest animal shelter I've ever visited. I like that they care for all kinds of animals, not just dogs and cats. It's clean and the animals have space and attention. The adoption program is good, I appreciate that they have pretty high requirements so weirdos don't go home with an animal they won't care for. Love the meet n' greet rooms for potential match-ups, and the wildlife center out back. During the cooler months there's a flock of wild turkeys that's always hanging around the front :)
