The people who lived in the neighborhood seemed happy, but we were not. First we told the waiter of my allergy to milk (breakout in hives and swell up). We asked if the pierogies had any milk in them. He responded in perfect English that they had beef, so they couldn't have milk. We didn't understand, so we tried to clarify asking about the potato pierogies, and he responded with a similar answer, they can't have milk, because they have beef. We repeated ourselves, trying to clarify about smashed potatoes inside dough, wanting to make sure. Finally, we just ordered the potato pierogies, we expected to be an appetizer. He started to walk away before we ordered. We called him back. My better half ordered fish and chips, and he walked away again, before he could take my order. This was welcomed when the food arrived. The pierogies were worse than any I've bought frozen. The fish smelled very off, and the fried batter was soggy and chewy. The best part was the frozen, reheated fries, which says a lot about the meal. We left, and left the fish. We choked down the pierogies because we were very hungry. After paying our bill we went in search of edible food.
