Torn bicep tendon and shoulder injury a week before Christmas. Primary care got me into the ortho deptartment very quickly. Once scheduled in ortho time and care stoped. Now 7 months later and six $50 dollar office visits plus travel costs and lost wages and still NO help. Seen an Ortho Dr. Once for a few minutes only to tell me that "we do better if we don't treat that type of injury". During the many office visits, the attending assistant would repeat "Oh, I wouldn't do it" refering to having the injury treated. I thought Dr.s were dedicated to healing. I didn't believe all the negative stories about the VA care before, but now I am one.
