Came here to volunteer. Upon arriving I was told I trust Bosnians too much which turned out to be a red flag. I came because I was born in Bosnia but hadn't had an oppprtunity to visit the country after the war but one time and after travelling, working, and volunteering all over I thought visiting my home country would wrap up my trip. I didn't know anyone and the person I spoke to was out of town. I went to the office the staff had no idea why I was there. We had an informal agreement that I would come teach English and I would have a place to stay. I was hoping to stay a few months and prior to this I had my own apartment in Italy in exchange for teaching English so I assumed I'd have at least a bedroom. I was given a couch in a living room. My flate mate was great but living in the living room was not ideal for either of us. I decided to get my own place but still was keen on volunteering. After reaching out a bunch of times nothing came to fruition. The people were friendly, environment seemed cozy and that they want to help but I didn't experience any action to back it up. Seems very disorganized and inefficient. Guess I was a bit naive to trust this lady. Hope they treat other volunteers with more courtesy.
