Was here for Class of 2018 graduation, School of International Affairs. Venue is big enough to accommodate a large and sound system was up to par. Good location.
Great venue as I have attended a few events here. Saw the Professional Fighting League here (Thank you Vet Tix!!) and had great time!!!
Went here for the 2018 WNBA Playoffs. Hardly no space to move, uncomfortable seating, and not much to choose from with vendors.
Saw a tennis match there. Nice small venue on George Washington campus.
Easy to get in and out of. Ticket prices are steep, but the agents are good and put you where you want to be...even if its with the visitors. Only one concession stand with a long line.
I loved it cause the the Washington tennis team won so did the womens college team George Washington
It is smaller than I thought it was going to be but it is a nice facility.
Typical indoor stadium seating but the air conditioning worked great and kept the notorious DC humidity at bay and the PA system was clear enough even for those of us who don't hear too well.

I work at GW so walk by the Smith Center all the time. In addition to GW basketball this 5000 seat arena hosts graduation celebrations, speakers, concerts, and other events. Nice facility right on the GW campus near Foggy Bottom metro station.

Best place for the Mystics to have their basketball games. Positive atmosphere and friendly environment.
The seats in the 200 level seats are not wide enough. The aisles between rows are not wide enough for comfort for folks well below six feet!
Seats are super uncomfortable. Wouldn't recommend sitting through a 4 hour graduation ceremony

In DC so only so much can do about size, traffic, and parking. Watch basketball games here but not fan of layout. Do not like scoreboard. But not sure much space to do much else. Not lot of space for concessions so eat before you go or deal with limited options.
The recent renovation of the court and air conditioning are legit. Not to mention the building is solar now!

My wife graduated with her Master of Public Health (MPH) here! Can't give this any less than 5 stars for that fact alone.

Section 213 is inundated with kids at every game. The groups should be seated in upper endzone seats where they do not disturb customers who have season tickets.

Excellent sports arena with central air conditioning, lighting and sound. The George Washington University students who play there are outstanding Division I team members.
Safety measirements for patrons, huge multi-purpose gym floor, swimming pool (limited access), workout center, locker rooms
Watching colonials basketball in this intimate arena with good friends is as good as it gets.
Just an "okay" sports arena. I mean... It's small, it's not easy to get around, and the concession stands aren't always open. But... for GW (and currently, the Washington Mystics), it'll have to do.
Great place to watch a basketball game. Fun, lively environment. The only drawback is the lack of parking.

The chairs don't accommodate larger people, and there should be provisions made for larger people as well.
