Very expensive hotel for the terrible condition it is in ... Everything very old, dangerous stairs ...

Honest price, very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location to visit Amsterdam.

Cheap hotel than average but old and a little 'overlooked. Continental breakfast with bread, butter, jam, eggs, coffee and juice. Surface cleaning. Friendly staff.

Stairs from movies ...... overall an old structure definitely not born as a hotel ..... but overall its location is great to reach the landmarks of amstetdam

Great! The highest rooms do not have good Wi-Fi and it was on the street but we changed and one floor down, the room on the park was very nice!

Quintessential Amsterdam. Narrow, almost vertical stairs, cooky furniture and upholstery, you name it. Dutch MTV playing Opgezwolle Hoedenplank - will never forget my stay here!

Disappointed by this aging hotel that is no longer at all modern standards. No thermal or sound insulation. It is necessary to provide the ear plugs because we strongly hear the neighbors. The breakfasts are served at the table and the service is very long: we waited 30 minutes before having a coffee. The price is moderate and the location is ideal, so that I still leave 2 stars, but we will not return.

Clean nice staff nice breakfast but old steep stairs which are so dangerous.

I disliked it. it should have earned a single star but i am giving two only because this hotel carries a heritage.
The stairs are horribly steepy and receiption is too unprofessional and their behavior is also rude (i don't know if the reason is my race or not). sometimes you'll feel like you're entering a private home.

Loved the hotel, simple no luxuries, very functional and for physically healthy people, go up three floors of stairs only for healthy adventurers
