I would like to thank KM for requiring me to get a notary to sign my LDS church resignation documents. The look on the notary s face when I explained the content of my resignation document was priceless. This cultish retention tactic is a blessing in disguise because, for every person who resigns, there will now be one unsuspecting notary who learns one of the many reasons why they shouldn t join. I think that s wonderful.
