I received a bill this week for a shoulder orthosis (arm sling) I received while at CapeCanaveral hospital but serviced through Holmes Regional Enterprises. I did not ask for this, wasn t told how much it would cost, and did n t even need the item. I am writing you because this bill is for $127.00. I am looking for an explanation of how a cloth arm sling can cost $127.00. An item that i can buy from CVS or Walgreens for 10-20 dollars. 10x markup of normal retail price. This represents everything that is wrong with the medical industry. I think Holmes Regional Enterprises should be ashamed of themselves. I have to ask, when you go home at night, do you feel like you helped your community?
